Our Medical Coding Course provides students with an educational opportunity that will enable them to obtain the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to succeed in the medical coding field upon program completion. At the completion of ACOMC coding Medical Coding Course, a successful graduate will be able to take the CPC or CCS Exams to become a Certified Coder.
The Medical Coding Program is designed to assist you in understanding health care delivery systems, medical health care information terminologies, and classification systems for diseases.
It can be completed in less than 4 months at your own pace online or on campus. Traditional classes meet once a week for 6 hours for 16 weeks.

Medical Terminology Course
This medical terminology course covers the basic knowledge and understanding of medical language and terminology used by health care professionals everywhere.If you're interested in pursing a health and science career requiring the ability to communicate with physicians, dentists, or other medical professionals, this class will meet all your needs.
In easy to read lessons, you'll find our compact format will not only give you a solid foundation in medical language, but can be completed in less than 25 days! You will analyze individual word parts such as prefixes, suffixes and word roots, along with learning body system dynamics, basic medical language, body orientation, health, wellness, and disease terms. You will learn the basic components of medical terminology as it relates to each body system plus the instruments used in assessment will also be reviewed.
